I hit the treadmill again for tonight's 15km recovery run.
Nothing groundbreaking; for once I was able to stay on the treadmill for the entire run instead of being kicked off after 30 minutes.
I finished the 15km (around 9.4 miles) in 1:09:34 - about 4:37 per km. Very comfortable pace, although because I was on a treadmill with no breeze I felt a lot hotter than usual.
Tomorrow I have my last interval workout - 15km with 8 x 3 minute intervals. I'm not sure how that will go, as I can still feel my calf muscle after last week's intervals. I may find myself just running at a steady pace while the rest of my running group does the intervals.
Fingers crossed - now is not the time to get injured.
